時系列データで、一定の期間の値の平均を、期間を 1 つずつずらしながら求めたもの。短期の変動をならして傾向を見るのに使う。
In a time series, the mean of the values over a fixed period, recomputed as the period slides forward one step at a time; it smooths out short-term changes to show the trend.
