分布が左右対称からどれだけ、どちら向きにずれているかの程度。右に裾が長いと正、左に長いと負。
The degree to which, and the direction in which, a distribution departs from symmetry; positive for a long right tail and negative for a long left tail.
例文

言い間違えやすいところ
- AP Statistics の授業では、数値の歪度より、分布の形を skewed right ／ skewed left と言葉で述べることが多い（用例コーパスでも skewed は多く、skewness はほとんど出てこない）。
