仮説検定や信頼区間で、棄却域の境目や信頼区間の幅を決める値。95% 信頼区間の z* = 1.96 など。
In a hypothesis test or a confidence interval, the value that marks the edge of the rejection region or sets the width of the interval, such as z* = 1.96 for 95% confidence.
例文

言い間違えやすいところ
