値 x が平均から標準偏差いくつ分離れているかを表す数 z = (x − μ)/σ。
The number of standard deviations a value x is from the mean, z = (x − μ)/σ.
例文
話し言葉 A z-score of negative two means you're two standard deviations below the mean. z スコアが −2 とは、平均より標準偏差 2 つ分下ということ。
書き言葉・答案 Find the z-score of a test score of 85 if the mean is 70 and the standard deviation is 6. 平均 70、標準偏差 6 のとき、得点 85 の z スコアを求めよ。
