仮説検定で、差がない・効果がないとして立てる仮説。H₀ と書く。

言い間違えやすいところ
- 読み上げでは the null hypothesis と言うのが、用例コーパスの話し言葉では多い。記号を読むときの H sub zero は、用例コーパスでは Professor Leonard だけ（記号エントリ h-naught-null）。
