定義
母集団についての仮説を立て、標本のデータがその仮説のもとでどれだけ起こりにくいかから、仮説を棄却するかどうかを判断する方法。

言い間違えやすいところ
- 話し言葉の significance test はすべて Khan Academy（AP Statistics）。書き言葉の hypothesis test(ing) はすべて OpenStax。
- 結論は「帰無仮説を棄却する」（reject the null hypothesis）か「棄却しない」（fail to reject）で述べる。用例コーパスでは fail to reject が多く、accept the null（帰無仮説を採択する）は少ない。
