各行の最初の 0 でない成分（先頭の 1）が、下の行ほど右にある形の行列。0 だけの行は下にまとめる。
The form of a matrix in which each row's first nonzero entry (the leading 1) lies to the right of the one above, with any zero rows at the bottom.
例文
話し言葉 Once it's in row-echelon form, solve from the bottom row up. 行階段形になったら、一番下の行から解いていく。

言い間違えやすいところ
- 字幕は row echelon form、OpenStax は row-echelon form と書く（用例コーパスでは同じ言い方としてまとめた）。
