行列の行と列を入れ替えること。また、入れ替えてできた行列。A の転置行列を Aᵀ と書く。

Swapping the rows and columns of a matrix, or the matrix that results; the transpose of A is written Aᵀ.

話し言葉 A transpose A is always square and symmetric. A の転置と A の積はいつも正方で対称だ。

書き言葉・答案 Find the transpose of the matrix and verify that (AB)ᵀ = Bᵀ Aᵀ. 行列の転置を求め、(AB)ᵀ = Bᵀ Aᵀ を確かめよ。
