単位接ベクトル T の微分の向きをもつ長さ 1 のベクトル N = T′/‖T′‖。曲線が曲がる側を向く。
The unit vector N = T′/‖T′‖ in the direction of the derivative of the unit tangent vector; it points toward the side the curve bends.
例文

言い間違えやすいところ
- unit normal vector だけだと、曲面の単位法線ベクトルの意味にもなる。
