割り算で、割るほうの数。a ÷ b の b のこと。

The number you divide by. In a ÷ b, the divisor is b.

話し言葉 In 24 divided by 6, 6 is the divisor, the number you're dividing by. 24 ÷ 6 では、6 が除数、つまり割る数だよ。

書き言葉・答案 In 84 ÷ 7 = 12, name the dividend, the divisor, and the quotient. 84 ÷ 7 = 12 で、被除数・除数・商をそれぞれ答えよ。

divisor は「約数」の意味でも使う（エントリ divisor）。6 is a divisor of 24 は「6 は 24 の約数」で、割り算の除数の話ではない。
割られる数（被除数）は dividend（エントリ dividend）、答えの商は quotient（エントリ quotient）。dividend ÷ divisor = quotient の順に並ぶ。
分数 a/b で割る数に当たる b は、denominator（分母、エントリ denominator）と呼ぶ。
