Finding the exponential function y = ab^x that best fits a set of data. It works like finding a regression line, but the model is an exponential curve instead of a line.
例文

言い間違えやすいところ
- 日本の高校では扱わない。グラフ電卓の ExpReg（Exponential Regression）機能で a と b を求める。
- 回帰直線（エントリ regression-line）は直線 y = a + bx を当てはめる。指数回帰の b は傾きではなく、x が 1 増えるごとにかかる倍率（b > 1 なら増加、0 < b < 1 なら減少）。
