言い間違えやすいところ
名詞の measure は「大きさ」の意味で使う。∠A の大きさは the measure of angle A で、m∠A と書く（m∠A = 50°）。
道具は、長さなら ruler（定規・ものさし）、角なら protractor（分度器）。measure … with a ruler、use a protractor to measure … の形で言う（IM と CK-12 Geometry は分度器を use a protractor to measure と書く）。
統計の measure of central tendency（代表値。エントリ measure-of-center）の measure は「指標」の意味で、「測る」とは別。
