既約行階段形

定義
行階段形のうち、各行の先頭の 0 でない成分（ピボット）が 1 で、その列のほかの成分がすべて 0 である形。行列ごとにただ 1 つに決まる。
A row-echelon form in which every leading entry is 1 and is the only nonzero entry in its column; each matrix has exactly one.
例文
話し言葉 Keep going until you get the reduced row-echelon form, with zeros above the pivots too. ピボットの上も 0 にして、既約行階段形になるまで続けよう。
書き言葉・答案 Transform the augmented matrix into reduced row-echelon form and read off the solution. 拡大係数行列を既約行階段形に変形し、解を読み取れ。
