統計量が外れ値の影響をほとんど受けないこと。中央値や四分位範囲は抵抗性があり、平均値や標準偏差はない。
Of a statistic: hardly affected by outliers. The median and the IQR are resistant; the mean and the standard deviation are not.
例文
