定義
立体の全体の形がひと目で分かるように、斜めから見たようにかいた図。見えない辺は点線でかく。
A drawing of a solid as seen from an angle, so that its whole shape can be seen at once. Edges that would be hidden from view are drawn with dashed lines.

言い間違えやすいところ
- 投影図（エントリ orthographic-projection）とは別の図。見取図は 1 枚の図で立体を斜めから表し、投影図は正面から見た図と真上から見た図を組にする。
- perspective は美術では遠近法（遠くのものを小さくかく方法）のことも指す。
