座標軸の正の向きの単位ベクトル。平面では e₁ = (1, 0), e₂ = (0, 1)、空間では e₃ = (0, 0, 1) も加える。
The unit vectors in the positive directions of the coordinate axes: i = ⟨1, 0⟩ and j = ⟨0, 1⟩ in the plane, plus k = ⟨0, 0, 1⟩ in space.
例文
話し言葉 Any vector in the plane is some multiple of i plus some multiple of j. 平面のベクトルは、i の何倍かと j の何倍かの和で表せる。
書き言葉・答案 Write the vector from (2, −1) to (5, 3) in terms of the standard unit vectors i and j. 点 (2, −1) から (5, 3) へのベクトルを基本ベクトル i, j を用いて表せ。
言い間違えやすいところ
