話し言葉 If the vertex angle is 36 degrees, then each base angle is 72, because 180 minus 36 is 144, and half of that is 72. 頂角が 36° なら、底角はそれぞれ 72°。180 − 36 = 144 で、その半分が 72 だからね。

言い間違えやすいところ
- 「二等辺三角形の底角は等しい」という定理は base angles theorem と呼ぶ（エントリ isosceles-triangle-theorem）。
- 底角の「底」は底辺（base、エントリ base-of-a-triangle）の「底」。等しい 2 辺にはさまれた角は頂角（vertex angle、エントリ vertex-angle）。
- 英語の base angle は台形の底辺の両端の角にも使う（CK-12 Geometry 5.13 Trapezoids）。
