定義
整数係数の方程式で、整数（または自然数）の解だけを考えるもの。日本語版 Wikipedia「ディオファントス方程式」は整係数多変数の不定方程式と説明する。

言い間違えやすいところ
- 「不定」を indefinite と直訳しない。英語はディオファントス（Diophantus）の名前で Diophantine equation と言い、D は大文字。
- xy − 2x − 3y = 0 のような式は (x − 3)(y − 2) = 6 と積の形にして、6 の約数の組を調べる。
