向きが同じか反対の 2 つの 0 でないベクトル。b = ka（k は 0 でない実数）と書ける。
Two nonzero vectors that point in the same or opposite directions, so that b = ka for some nonzero real number k.
例文
話し言葉 Check if one is a multiple of the other; if it is, the vectors are parallel. 一方が他方の実数倍か調べる。そうなら平行。

言い間違えやすいところ
- 日本の教科書の「平行条件」（a ∥ b ⇔ b = ka）は、英語では条件に名前をつけず、one vector is a scalar multiple of the other のように言う（scalar multiple of は用例コーパスに少し出てくる）。
