偏導関数がともに 0 になる点（停留点）のうち、極大でも極小でもない点。
A critical point of a function of several variables that is neither a local maximum nor a local minimum.
例文
話し言葉 It goes up in one direction and down in the other — that's a saddle point. ある向きには上がり、別の向きには下がる。それが鞍点。

言い間違えやすいところ
