The ray where an angle ends when the angle is made by rotating the initial side.
例文

書き言葉・答案 Find sin θ and cos θ if the terminal side of θ passes through the point (−3, 4). θ の動径が点 (−3, 4) を通るとき、sin θ と cos θ の値を求めよ。
言い間違えやすいところ
- OpenStax Algebra and Trigonometry（7.1 Angles）は、固定した半直線を initial side、回転させた半直線を terminal side と呼ぶ。「動径 OP の表す角」は the angle whose terminal side is OP。
- 日本語版 Wikipedia「半径」（「動径」はここへの転送）と「極座標系」は、極座標の r（原点からの距離）も動径と呼ぶ。この r は OpenStax Calculus Volume 2（7.3 Polar Coordinates）では radial coordinate で、terminal side ではない（エントリ polar-coordinates）。
