a is greater than or equal to b

ある数が別の数より大きいか、または等しいこと。「x は 5 以上」は x ≧ 5 と書き、5 を含む。

Either greater than or equal to another number. The symbol is ≥, so x ≥ 5 includes 5 itself.

話し言葉 See the line under the sign? That means greater than or equal to, so 3 itself is included. 記号の下に線があるよね。これは「以上」の意味だから、3 そのものも含まれる。

書き言葉・答案 Find the values of x for which 2x − 1 is greater than or equal to 7. 2x − 1 が 7 以上となる x の値の範囲を求めよ。
