2 つの平面が交わってできる直線。交わる 2 平面の交線は、ちょうど 1 本の直線になる。
The line where two planes meet. Two planes that intersect always meet in exactly one line.

言い間違えやすいところ
- 2 直線や 2 曲線が交わるところは点（point of intersection、エントリ point-of-intersection）、2 平面が交わるところは直線（line of intersection）。
- 集合の「共通部分」も intersection（エントリ intersection）と言う。line of intersection は図形どうしが交わってできる直線のこと。
