a > 0, a ≠ 1 のとき、aˣ = aʸ ⇔ x = y、log_a M = log_a N ⇔ M = N（M, N > 0）であること。
For a > 0, a ≠ 1: aˣ = aʸ exactly when x = y, and log_a M = log_a N exactly when M = N (M, N > 0).
例文
話し言葉 Both sides are powers of 3, so by the one-to-one property the exponents are equal. 両辺とも 3 の累乗なので、一対一の性質から指数が等しい。
書き言葉・答案 Use the one-to-one property to solve log₅(3x − 1) = log₅(x + 7). 一対一の性質を用いて log₅(3x − 1) = log₅(x + 7) を解け。
言い間違えやすいところ
