定義
取り出したものを毎回元に戻してから次を取り出す抽出。どの回も同じ条件で取り出すので、各回の結果は独立になる。
Drawing items one at a time and putting each one back before the next draw, so every draw is made from the same full set and the draws are independent.
例文
話し言葉 We're drawing with replacement, so the chance of red is 3/5 on every single draw. 復元抽出なので、赤が出る確率はどの回も 3/5 のまま。
書き言葉・答案 A ball is drawn at random from the bag and then replaced, 4 times in all (sampling with replacement). Find the probability that exactly 2 of the draws are red. 袋から玉を 1 個取り出して色を調べてから元に戻すことを 4 回繰り返す。赤玉がちょうど 2 回出る確率を求めよ。
言い間違えやすいところ
- 「復元抽出」に当たる 1 語の名詞は用例コーパスと参照に出てこず、動詞に副詞句を付けて draw … with replacement ／ sampling with replacement と言う。
- 復元抽出は各回が独立なので反復試行（二項分布）になる。元に戻さない非復元抽出（without replacement）とは確率の計算が変わる。
