定義

命題「p ならば q」の q の部分。証明では、仮定から出発して最後に示すことがらを指す。

The "then" part q of a statement "if p, then q." In a proof, it is what you must show, starting from the hypothesis.

話し言葉 The part after "if" is the hypothesis, and the part after "then" is the conclusion. 「〜ならば」の前の部分が仮定で、後ろの部分が結論だよ。

書き言葉・答案 Identify the conclusion of the statement "If a number is divisible by 6, then it is divisible by 3." 命題「6 の倍数ならば 3 の倍数である」の結論を答えよ。

仮定 hypothesis（エントリ hypothesis）と組で使う。「p ならば q」の p が hypothesis、q が conclusion。
仮定と結論を入れかえた命題が逆（エントリ converse）。もとの命題が正しくても、逆が正しいとは限らない。
統計の検定の「結論を述べよ」も state your conclusion と言う（エントリ hypothesis-testing）。命題の結論とは別の使い方。

米国の講義の書き起こし・字幕（話し言葉）と教科書・講義ノート（書き言葉）で、言い方ごとに数えた回数です。語形変化はまとめ、「…」は 1〜3 語の空き。「数えていない」はその側では数えていないことを示します。
