英語では Levin の離散数学が implication、CK-12 Geometry(2.11 If Then Statements)が conditional statement(33 件)・if-then statement(11 件)と呼ぶ。
p implies q
A statement of the form "if p, then q," built from two statements p and q. It is false only when p is true and q is false.
An implication is false in only one case: the hypothesis is true and the conclusion is false.
Let's rewrite this as an if-then statement: if two angles are vertical angles, then they're congruent.
Write the converse of the conditional statement "If x = 3, then x² = 9," and determine whether the converse is true.
