例文
書き言葉・答案 Give a counterexample to show that the statement "if x² = 4, then x = 2" is false. 反例を挙げて、「x² = 4 ならば x = 2」が偽であることを示せ。
書き言葉・答案 The function f(x) = |x| is a counterexample: it is continuous at 0 but not differentiable there. 関数 f(x) = |x| が反例である。x = 0 で連続だが、そこで微分可能ではない。
