りーまんわのきょくげん 1対1で対応limit of a Riemann sum
the integral from a to b of f of x dx equals the limit as n goes to infinity of the sum from i equals one to n of f of x sub i delta x
The value a Riemann sum approaches as the partition is refined (n → ∞, subinterval widths → 0); this limit is taken as the definition of the definite integral.
The definite integral is defined as the limit of a Riemann sum as n goes to infinity.
The definite integral is defined as a limit of Riemann sums, and the sample points can be anywhere in each subinterval.
- Δx は delta x、xᵢ は x sub i、xᵢ* は x sub i star と読む。
