IM Geometry（4.6 Working with Trigonometric Ratios・4.9）は right triangle table と呼び、trigonometry table とも言う（1 件）。英語版 Wikipedia の記事名は Trigonometric table。用例コーパスにはどの言い方も出てこない。高等学校学習指導要領解説（数学I 内容の取扱い）は「三角比表」を積極的に利用すると書き、共通テスト（令和 4・6 年度 数学I 第2問）は問題冊子に「三角比の表」を付ける。IM の表は自分たちで測って作る直角三角形の比の表で、日本の三角比の表（0° から 90° の値の表）とは作りが違う。
定義
0° から 90° までの角について、sin・cos・tan の値の近似値をまとめた表。

例文
話し言葉 Look it up in the right triangle table: tan 25° is about 0.4663. 三角比の表で tan 25° を引いてごらん。0.4663 くらいだ。
書き言葉・答案 Using the table of trigonometric ratios, find the acute angle θ such that sin θ = 0.6018. 三角比の表を用いて、sin θ = 0.6018 となる鋭角 θ を求めよ。
言い間違えやすいところ
- 表の値は小数第 4 位までの近似値。等号ではなく ≈ で書く（sin 25° ≈ 0.4226）。
- 表は 0° から 90° まで。鈍角は sin(180° − θ) = sin θ、cos(180° − θ) = −cos θ で鋭角に直してから読む。
