定義
数列の初項から第 n 項までの和 Sₙ。無限級数の収束は、部分和の数列の極限で決める。
Sₙ = a₁ + a₂ + ⋯ + aₙ, the total of a sequence's terms up through the nth; an infinite series converges when its sequence of partial sums has a limit.
例文
